Albany County inmates accused of inciting a riot

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A dozen inmates on the Albany County Correctional Facility have been arrested for allegedly inciting a riot contained in the jail. The incident happened Friday when the 12 inmates tied off gates to a particular half of the jail, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
The inmates are then accused of grabbing brooms and mops and threatened to make use of them as weapons. In addition they put cleaning soap and water on the ground to make it more durable for corrections officers to cease them.
The Corrections Emergency Response Staff bought the scenario below management, and the inmates have been arrested. They’re going through a number of costs and will likely be arraigned at a later date.
