Customers can also set up a payment for a later date through the phone system. You can stop making these payments until 5:30 p.m. East Coast Time on the day the payment is due. When a customer calls Discover, they can also choose to have their payments made automatically each month. By making an account with Discover, a customer can also pay bills online. Discover Financial Services, P.O. Box 6103, Carol Stream, IL 60197-6103, will accept checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders sent by mail. Also, many local Sears stores let you pay with a personal check instead of a Discover Card. There is no way to pay with cash, money orders, or cashier’s checks.
Lastly, customers can pay using Western Union to send up to $5,000 in cash to Discover Card. After 24 hours, payments are added to the account.
