CBSE Class 10 English (Speech and Literature) Syllabus 2021-2022

V.One out of 2 Extended Response Sort Questions from FIRST FLIGHT to be replied in roughly 100-120 words per day to assess ingenuity, imagination and extrapolation beyond the writing and round the texts. ) This is considered a passage-based question extracted out of the situation/plot from texts. (5 marks)

VI.One out of 2 Extended Response Type Questions from FOOTPRINTS WITHOUT FEET online plot or theme between translation, extrapolation beyond the writing and inference or personality sketch to be replied at roughly 100-120 words. (5 marks)

i.Activities  

→ Actions for listening and talking available at www.cbseacademic.in may be utilized for creating listening and talking abilities of pupils.  

→ Theme teachers must also consult to novels prescribed in the syllabus.

→ Along with the aforementioned, teachers can organize their own tasks and make their very own substance for analyzing the listening and discussing abilities.

ii.Parameters for Assessment: The hearing and speaking skills should be evaluated on these parameters:

i.Interactive proficiency (Initiation & turn carrying, significance to this topic).

ii.Fluency (cohesion, coherence and rate of delivery).

iv.Language (accuracy and language ).
