Lucknow: All faculties in Uttar Pradesh will stay shut until 15 Could whereas, board exams for lessons 10 and 12 have been postponed until 20 Could in view of rising COVID-19 instances, the federal government stated on Thursday.
The brand new dates for the board examinations will likely be determined in the primary week of Could, an official stated.
“Colleges as much as class 12 are being closed until 15 Could and no examinations may also be held throughout this era. Additionally, the state board exams for lessons 10 and 12 have been postponed until 20 Could,” the official stated.
The choice was taken at a gathering chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The Uttar Pradesh Training Board examinations had been earlier scheduled to start out from 8 Could.
An evening curfew from 8 pm until 7 am has been imposed in 10 districts reporting greater than 2,000 lively COVID-19 instances, the official stated.
