As of June 2015, Dish Network customers who subscribe to ESPN can watch ESPN3 online but not on their satellite service. ESPN3 is a streaming service that only works online. It shows live events and shows that have already been shown.
Customers of Dish Network who have a package that includes ESPN can watch ESPN3 by going to WatchESPN.com and choosing a show from the home page. A message pops up asking the customer to choose their cable or satellite provider in order to verify their ESPN subscription. You need a username and password to log in to your Dish Network account.
Live broadcasts of ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN2, and other ESPN channels can be watched on WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN iPhone and Android apps. You can get WatchESPN apps for free.
