Fatah, Hamas delegations head to Cairo for reconciliation talks
“The Fatah delegation is headed by its Central Committee Secretary-Basic Jibril Rajoub, and two different senior leaders — Rawhi Fattouh and Ahmed Helles,” Abbas Zaki, a senior Fatah chief, informed Xinhua information company on Sunday.
“These conferences goal to proceed the reconciliation efforts between Fatah and Hamas to finish the inner division that may result in the Palestinian presidential and legislative elections as quickly as attainable,” Zaki added.
He praised Egypt’s position in sponsoring Palestinian reconciliation, stressing that “these efforts will obtain success in ending the Palestinian division”.
