A self-addressed, postage-paid envelope, or SASE, is a professional business tool that enables a prospect to return a document easily and at no cost.
Write your address
As you would when mailing a letter to yourself, include your business address on the envelope. For a more professional appearance, configure the printer to type the address in the envelope’s centre. Include the name of the intended recipient on the first line, followed by the name of the company and postal address.
Postage stamp the envelope
Include the appropriate postage on the envelope. Despite the fact that businesses occasionally send SASEs without postage, prospects and clients may find this nasty. The cost may also discourage a response.
Fold the SASE envelope
When shipping things in a large envelope, place the envelope inside. According to writer Megan Spooner, place the SASE in an envelope of letter size and fold it in thirds with two creases. The address side must be facing the addressee.
Shipping and mailing
Close the envelope with the SASE enclosed. Include the recipient’s name and mailing address on the exterior envelope. Include the proper postage. The envelope should be mailed.
