How can Indian Muslim feel safe after crowd & slogans asks AIMIM Asaduddin Owaisi on Jantar Mantar ‘Bharat Jodo Andolan’
Expressing displeasure over the alleged provocative sloganeering at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi asked how can the Muslim of the country feel safe after seeing such a crowd and such slogans? Expressing his opinion on these slogans in several tweets, Owaisi said that last Friday a ‘Mahapanchayat’ was called in protest against Haj House in Dwarka. Hasb-e-Rivayat, slogans against Muslims were also raised in this panchayat. Jantar Mantar is just 20 minutes away from Modi’s palace, yesterday there were shoddy slogans.
He further said that last year Modi’s minister had raised the slogan of “Goli Maaro” and soon after that there was open massacre of Muslims in North-East Delhi. How can a Muslim of India feel safe seeing such a crowd and such slogans? The AIMIM chief asked that after all, what is the secret of the increasing courage of these goons?
Taking a dig at the central government, Owaisi said that they know that the Modi government is standing with them. He said that on July 24, the Government of India had given the Delhi Police the right to detain any person under the NSA. Yet the Delhi Police is silently watching the spectacle.”
According to Owaisi, the situation has become such that even demanding justice and legal action has become a joke. This should be discussed in the Lok Sabha today, Wazir-e-Dakhla should be held accountable. I have given adjournment motion notice on this issue as per the rules of Lok Sabha.
Controversial slogans were allegedly raised at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar area on Sunday. Under the Bharat Jodo Andolan, in this program, the central government demanded to make new laws by abolishing the laws made by the British. During this, people involved in the crowd, which came in hundreds, raised communal slogans on the alleged Kaur. Some videos related to the case have also surfaced on social media platforms. Police is investigating in this matter.
The event was led by Supreme Court lawyer and former BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay. He said that the laws made by the British are very poor, so attempts are being made to suppress our voice through communal frenzy. He said that unless the English laws are replaced with good laws, the religious hysteria, separatism and fundamentalism will not subside.
