Customers can be added to the company’s promotions mailing list by calling 800-322-1189 and requesting to be included to the J.C. Penny catalogue mailing list. Additionally, the J.C. Penny website has a customer service chat option and clients can order a catalogue there.
J.C. Penny had stopped issuing its big “Big Book” catalogue in 2009, but they started doing so again in March of 2015. The page count of the new catalogue has been reduced to 120. Market research revealed that many consumers were prompted to shop online after perusing the print catalogue, so the decision was made to reinstate the catalogue. There are also virtual advertisements to peruse on the J.C. Penny website.
