As of the end of 2014, Kmart did not provide its own credit card, however customers may use Sears credit cards at Kmart stores. Kmart also honours all of the discounts and perks that may be earned with a Sears card.

To do this, visit Kmart’s online store and locate the Money Services section of the main menu. From the dropdown menu, select Sears Credit Cards.

You can start your application by clicking the orange Apply Now button on Sears’ application website. On the following page, you’ll have the option of applying for a Sears card, valid just at Sears and Kmart, or a Sears MasterCard, valid at any location that accepts MasterCard. You can apply for a Sears card by clicking the orange “Apply Now” button, or you can click the grey “Learn More” button for additional details on the application process. Online applications are only accessible for the Sears Card, not the Sears MasterCard.

Personal information includes email address, full name, address and phone number. Annual income, housing situation, and mortgage or rent payment amount are all examples of what is considered financial data. Birth dates, SSNs, and ID photos are all examples of sensitive data.
Check the approval status by confirming the data.
On the following page, your application information is checked for accuracy. If everything is in order, you can submit your application by clicking the “Submit” button; the next screen will show you whether your application has been approved, rejected, or is awaiting further processing (which could take another 7-10 days).
