How Do You Find Out If Visionworks Takes Your Insurance?

To see if Visionworks is a provider for your vision insurance, you can either call your local Visionworks location to find out if they accept your plan or contact your vision insurance company directly. You can also examine the insurance plans accepted by a specific Visionworks location by visiting the store locator, entering your ZIP code, and then clicking on the store’s Web page.

Most insurance policies are accepted at Visionworks. According to Visionworks, all of their locations are in network with Davis Vision, BCBS, and FEP Blue Vision. All Visionworks locations honour FSA funds for the purchase of eyeglasses, contacts, and prescription sunglasses. HealthCare.gov describes FSAs, or flexible spending accounts, as “special accounts” that employees can open with their employers to save for future out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Visionworks expressly prohibits the use of any promotional offers, discounts, or coupons in conjunction with any vision insurance benefits. After August 2015, consumers who use their insurance benefits at Visionworks can get 50% off their second pair of glasses. Visionworks does not permit the use of this deal in tandem with any other discount or special offer. This discount is valid only on a complete pair of glasses (frames and lenses).
