How Do You Open a Dutch Brothers Coffee Franchise?

Dutch Brothers Coffee restricts the opening of franchise locations to existing franchisees and staff who meet certain financial and experience standards. Non-affiliated individuals are not eligible for franchise opportunities.

In order to maintain the company’s standards for product quality and working culture, Dutch Brothers Coffee restricts franchise eligibility to existing employees or franchisees. Existing employees must have at least three years of experience with Dutch Brothers, including at least one year as a manager. The location’s franchisee must endorse and promote the employee to the firm. Additionally, the employee must have $5,000 in liquid assets, a credit score of at least 675, and at least $150,000 on hand. Additionally, Dutch Brothers Coffee demands a 250-word written essay and a short video essay defining the applicant’s personality.

To become a franchisee, those who are not currently employed must apply for a retail position at a local franchise and meet the aforementioned qualifications. This allows them to receive hands-on experience in every element of operating a Dutch Brothers Coffee stand. If retail employment is not desirable, the individual may invest in the business of a franchisee who has been approved.
