ESPN runs the streaming video website ESPN3, which is called ESPN3. It’s not on a network channel, and no cable company has it. WatchESPN is the name for ESPN3 right now. To see the site, you must have a valid subscription to a cable service.
When ESPN3 first came out, it was called ESPN360.com and had mostly studio content. Over time, the content changed to include more live sports events and less complex information than the main ESPN show. Most of the time, ESPN3 only shows basic commentary and not much from the studio during sporting events. ESPN3 also has some on-demand replays of recent sporting events that the ESPN family of channels has the rights to show.
