Is the Post Office Open on Saturdays?

The vast majority of post offices are only open weekdays and never open on Sundays. Customers at some locations of the United States Postal Service will be able to access their mailboxes on Saturdays, but will be limited in their ability to take advantage of the full range of postal services and products.

On Saturdays, stores that are open are often only open for a limited time. Saturdays are open from 11 a.m. to noon, while regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers who need to mail something can use the drop boxes even when the post office is closed or on a holiday.
