Worldwide Maritime Organisation (IMO) has recognised India”s NavIC as a part of the World-Extensive Radio Navigation System (WWRNS), Indian House Analysis Organisation stated on Tuesday. This recognition was awarded within the 102nd assembly of Maritime Security Committee of IMO (MSC-102) held in November 2020, the area company stated. It stated, NavIC has been represented at IMO by the Directorate Common of Transport (DGS), Ministry of Ports, Transport and Waterways with technical help from ISRO.
