Keith Richards will get cockroach named after him for birthday
A museum in Keith Richards’ residence state gave him an uncommon birthday current: a creepy-crawly cockroach.
In honor of his 77th birthday on December 18, the Kids’s Museum in West Hartford, Connecticut, named a Madagascar hissing cockroach “Keith” to commemorate the Rolling Stones rocker’s big day.
Keith the Cockroach even bought his personal insect-sized guitar for his enclosure, due to Denver basic rock station 103.5 The Fox, which sponsored the adoption.
The cockroach will completely reside in an enclosure on the museum, which is situated simply 60 miles north of Richards’ residence in Weston, and it is going to be cared for by employees on the museum, noting that “all of his rider calls for might be met.”
“It’s stated the one two issues to outlive a nuclear battle could be cockroaches and Keith Richards,” the museum wrote in a press launch. “Likelihood is the true Keith will outlive the newly named, oval-shaped invertebrate whose life span is 2 to 5 years.”
The museum stated it was impressed to call the nightcrawler after Richards, who himself has notoriously cheated dying on a number of events, together with when he fell out of a coconut tree in 2006, and in 1978, when somebody laced his dope with strychnine, which landed him in a coma.
