Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur pay tribute to Ray Clemence, certainly one of all-time goalkeeping greats (Video)
The world of soccer, particularly in England, stated goodbye to the nice Ray Clemence right this moment (Sunday). The previous goalkeeper, who made 470 appearances for Liverpool between 1967 and 1981, 240 for Tottenham Hotspur between 1981 and 1988, and 61 as a senior England worldwide, has died on the age of 72 after a 15-year battle towards prostate most cancers.
Clemence received 5 league titles ( all with Liverpool), two FA Cups (one Liverpool, one Spurs), three European Cups (all Liverpool), three UEFA Cups (two Liverpool, one Spurs), and one League Cup (Liverpool).
