New service of income tax for the convenience of tax payers you will be able to complain through email
The Income Tax (I-T) department on Saturday issued three email IDs for taxpayers to file complaints under the faceless or e-assessment scheme. The department has shared this information on its official Twitter handle.
In a tweet, the department said that for the convenience of the taxpayers and to promote the tax payers service, the Income Tax Department has issued e-mail IDs. Taxpayers can send their grievances to the department on these mail ids. Taxpayers can now file complaints related to faceless scheme or e-assessment program and appeal matters through mail.

Under the Faceless Assessment System, taxpayers do not have to approach the IT department office or any officer of the department for income tax related work. That is, taxpayers no longer need to communicate directly with the tax authority. Information is shared between the two through electronic mode. Under this, any field officer of the Income Tax Department is suddenly given any case for assessment.
This scheme was carried forward by the government in the faceless assessment program in 2019. Its purpose is to give respect to the honest taxpayers of the country and encourage tax collection transparency. These e-mail ids have been issued only to make it better.
