NJ Rep. says lawmakers held ‘reconnaissance’ excursions earlier than Capitol riot
A New Jersey congresswoman accused some lawmakers of main teams across the Capitol for “reconnaissance” a day earlier than the riot carried out by a pro-Trump mob.
New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill stated in a Tuesday night time Fb dwell handle to her constituents that she witnessed the alleged exploratory excursions.
The unidentified members of Congress “had teams coming by the Capitol” in “a reconnaissance for the subsequent day,” Sherrill stated.
Within the over 13-minute video, Sherrill stated she intends to see these lawmakers “are held accountable, and if mandatory, be sure that they don’t serve in Congress.”
Sherrill didn’t determine the lawmakers, or present any additional details about what constituted reconnaissance.
She did recall her account of the Capitol siege, and defined to constituents steps the Home is taking to question President Trump.
