Port Authority cracks down on sky high concession costs at airports
NEW YORK — Complaints of sky high costs at airports are resulting in new guidelines for distributors from the Port Authority.
The principles require foods and drinks concession costs to mirror native avenue costs with a most surcharge of 10 p.c.
Distributors may also have to supply lower-priced meals and beverage choices to clients.
The modifications are the results of an investigation that began final 12 months after dozens of vacationers reported being charged $27 for a beer.
