Even US Treasury Secretery Steve Mnuchin is feeling the burn of falling actual property costs.
He has simply relisted his house at 740 Park Ave. — and slashed the asking value greater than 20 % from when the co-op first went available on the market in 2018.
740 Park Ave is without doubt one of the metropolis’s poshest addresses.
Mnuchin’s sprawling duplex on the eighth and ninth flooring hit the marketplace for $32.5 million two years in the past; it was final listed for $27.5 million in 2019. It now has a price ticket of $25.75 million.
Mnuchin purchased the palatial five-bedroom pad from his aunt, Carol Lederman, round 20 years in the past for $10.5 million.
