Troy man sentenced for 2019 homicide

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Troy man convicted of killing a 26-year-old in October 2019 will serve 25 years to life in jail. Raekwon Ellis, 27, was sentenced for the deadly capturing of Raheem Douglas.
The capturing occurred within the space of Lexington Avenue and First Road in Albany. Investigators mentioned there was no recognized connection between the 2.
It’s unclear what the motive was.
