Sign in to your account at WesternUnion.com, go to the Rewards page, and click on the Redeem Points Now button to use your Rewards Points in the My WU Rewards programme. As of 2015, once you’re on the page, click on one of the reward listings to use your points and get the reward.
With the My WU Rewards programme from Western Union, you can get points for using the Western Union service in certain ways. You’ll get one point for every $2 you spend on transaction fees or on a qualifying money transfer. You’ll get more points for every $2 you spend until you reach the program’s thresholds. You have to have at least 30 Rewards Points before you can start to use them.
To join the programme, you must sign up for a Western Union online account and enrol in the programme. You can then do all of your transactions while logged into your account. The rewards you get when you cash in your points may change over time, but they usually include a discount on transaction fees or free airtime on a cellphone. Western Union doesn’t offer phone service on its own, but it works with other major carriers to offer discounts on monthly payments or reloads of pay-as-you-go call time.
