What Does a Dodge SXT Mean?

Dodge is the name of the car brand, and SXT is the name of the car’s exterior trim package. For example, a 2014 Dodge Charger could be an SXT, an SXT Plus, or an R/T. The main difference between these is in the colours and designs of the car’s different exterior parts.

SXT stands for “Standard Extra,” because it has many of the same features as the standard package but also has a few extra improvements. A Dodge SXT is like the base package that comes with many Dodge models, but these changes make the car look better and give it a luxury feel. With the SXT package, a car can have extra features that aren’t available with the SE package.
