In some areas, members of the American Automobile Association can get dental insurance through the group. The website for the programme says that AAA members who live in Massachusetts can sign up for the Altus Dental plan, which has a maximum benefit of $1,000 per calendar year. Members of the Rhode Island AAA can sign up for the Delta Dental plan, which has a maximum benefit of $1,200 per year and no deductibles. To join either plan, you have to pay a fee.
Delta Dental of Minnesota says that AAA members in Minneapolis can join the SingularDental Options plan. The Mid-Atlantic AAA website says that in Virginia, AAA doesn’t offer dental insurance plans, but it gives new members a 10% discount when they buy dental plans.
The benefits of joining AAA depend on where you live because it is a non-profit federation of individual clubs. There are more than 1,100 offices in the U.S. and Canada. AAA says that most clubs offer insurance for cars, homes, and lives, and some even run full-service insurance agencies. As of 2016, more than 55 million people are members of AAA, which was started in 1902. Its paying members get a lot of benefits, like help on the road and planning their trips.
