According to Claire Huang, the first chief marketing officer at JPMorgan Chase and Co., “the firm went through a shift from being product-centered to customer-centered a few years ago.” The phrase is meant to emphasise the customer-centric emphasis of the bank by highlighting goods that make life easier. The 2008 debut of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s prior advertising campaign featured the phrase “Chase what matters.”
