What Is Nordstrom’s Mission Statement?

“To provide outstanding service every day, one customer at a time,” says the company’s mission statement. This comes from the store’s founder, John Nordstrom, who thought that the customer should get the best service, selection, quality, and value possible.

In 1901, Nordstrom stores opened in Seattle, Washington, with the goal of giving customers great service. The company’s leaders say that their job is to make decisions that are in the best interests of both customers and employees. Each employee is taught how to carry out this mission in the real world. Employees are told to trust each other’s honesty and use their best judgement at work. Managers are told to give their employees the freedom and help they need.

Employees are told to treat each other like family and to think of the company as their own. The company appreciates healthy competition, honesty, respectful communication, and kindness. It also rewards employees for their great work and achievements. As part of its mission to be a good neighbour, Nordstrom gives money to community groups, special events, and outreach programmes in the places where its stores are located. On top of that, Nordstrom wants its employees to have fun and show how much they love fashion.
