From the 1960s until the mid-1980s, the Richland Arms Company was based in Blissfield, Michigan. The company brought in a variety of shotguns and pistols from Spain and Italy. They aren’t in business anymore.
The Richland Arms Company hasn’t been in business for a long time, so there isn’t much information about them. Most people didn’t have the internet in their homes back then. Bob Barringer’s book “Blissfield” says that the company was started by Thomas Hoagland Jr. The family used to run a business in Blissfield called Richland Furs, which stayed in business until 1990. Most of what the company brought in were pistols and shotguns, but some long rifles are also listed.
