Gatorade’s target market profile categories consist of athletes and adolescents. Before, during, and after a hard workout, Gatorade restores the body’s electrolytes and carbohydrates.
The new G series from Gatorade consists of three phases: Prime, Reform, and Recover. Prime is designed to provide nourishment for everyday athletes. It is meant to be consumed prior to a strenuous workout or game. It offers carbs, fuel for performance, and energy.
The second phase, Reform, is aimed to recover electrolytes and carbohydrates lost throughout a game or workout by rehydrating, refuelling, and rehydrating. The third phase, Recover, supplies protein to the body to aid in muscle repair and preparation for the following day’s workout.
Although athletes are Gatorade’s primary target market, the corporation is increasing its efforts to advertise the beverage to teenagers, who previously considered it as something only their parents would consume. The G series of Gatorade was created with adolescents in mind.
Gatorade also offers a series for adults called G Series Pro, which targets personal trainers, marathon runners, and elite athletes. This series is available through niche sports retailers.
Gatorade is an essential beverage for most athletes. It is the official sports drink of Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.
