FEMSA owns about 10 million shares, which is about half of all the shares in the company. Coca-Cola is also owned by a chain of subsidiaries that are all owned by Coca-Cola and use the Coca-Cola brand name. About 6 million shares, or 36% of all shares, are owned by the subsidiary companies.
