What will happen next? Britney Spears’ next hearing in November
The court set November 12 as the date for a hearing to decide whether to completely end the stereotype that has dominated Britney Spears’ life for 13 years.
The hearing was set after Judge Brenda Penney suspended Ms. Spears’s father, James P. Spears, as her mentor. An attorney for Ms. Spears, Matthew S. Rosengart had called for Mr Spears’ immediate suspension, and called for the next hearing to discuss ending the conservatism.
Mr Rosengart told the court he would submit a termination plan so that a systematic change could take place. “My client wants, my client needs, my client deserves a systematic change,” he said.
A lawyer for Mr Spears, Vivian Lee Thorin, called for Mr Spears to be suspended rather than immediately end the stereotype, while Mr Rosengart asked the judge to wait so he could further investigate Mr Spears’ conduct .
It is unclear whether Ms. Spears will attend the termination hearing.
The hearing on November 12 is also expected to resolve any formalities related to Mr. Spears’ suspension. Ms Thorin had questions about the possibility of an appeal.
The judge set a second hearing date for December 8 to resolve outstanding financial matters, including more than one million dollars in legal fees billed to the property.
