As of 2015, Jackson’s Lemon Jumble cookies are no longer made commercially and are no longer for sale. Kellogg now owns the company. Around 2001, Kellogg bought the cookie line from Keebler. Soon after taking over the company, Kellogg got rid of the southern favourite.
Fans sometimes called Jackson’s Old Fashioned Lemon Jumbles “jumbos.” They had a natural lemon flavour that made them a little sour and a little sweet. In the middle of the 1980s, the cookies became very popular. Fans of the original cookie have written to Kellogg to ask that they bring the cookies back, but there are no plans to do so.
