Where Does the Stamp Go on a Postcard?

Stamps are usually put in the upper right corner of postcards. Senders of postcards should always make sure to follow the rules set by the United States Postal Service.

The address, postage, and barcode should go in blank spots on the right side of the postcard, which is the side with the address. But some places are left out because the postcard is too small. On panoramic postcards, which are usually 11.25 inches by 5.75 inches, the stamp goes right above the address and barcode. The stamp goes in the upper right corner of a giant postcard, which is usually 8.5 inches by 11 inches, right above the address and barcode. Contact the post office if you want to know how much stamps cost for postcards or if you have any other questions about mailing.

The destination address is the address that goes between the stamp and the bar code. Even though it’s not necessary, the return address is written in the top left corner of the postcard. Most of the time, barcodes are used as road maps in the world of mail delivery.

There are many websites that let you design and print postcards, but most of them charge a fee. It’s important to know how to mail a postcard. If you don’t follow the rules, it might cost more to send the postcard.
