The first Xbox was manufactured in Guadalajara, Mexico, and released in November 2001. The Xbox 360, its successor, was manufactured in Southern China’s Pearl River Delta. The Xbox One is now being produced in Shanghai, China.
Microsoft, an American firm, created the Xbox and awarded the console’s manufacturing contract to Flextronics. Flextronics has factories all around the world, including the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, Poland, China, India, and Malaysia. Flextronics, Wistron, Celestica, and Foxconn all have factories in South China, where Xbox 360 was made. As of September 2014, Flextronics and Foxconn are responsible for producing Xbox One.
