According to the search engine on UHC.com, 248 in-network facilities accept United HealthCare’s Charter HMO within 100 miles of New York City. Click the Find a Doctor page and then the Find a Physician, Hospital, or Health Care Facility link under the General Directory heading to access the feature.
After launching the search tool via the URL, select the kind of plan to search for doctors, clinics, and facilities, UHC.com explains. Choose the All United HealthCare Plans option to search for hospitals and other providers from the UHC family of health plans, or click the State Exchanges option to locate providers from the health insurance exchange.
When choosing the All United HealthCare Plans link, select the plan name located in the lower-right corner of your member ID card. Charter HMO, Charter Plus, Choice, Navigate Plus, and Passport Connect Choice Plus are examples of available plans. Choose the Places icon, then click the Hospitals symbol, enter your ZIP code, and choose the search radius. If desired, select a specialisation from the drop-down selection beneath the proximity box. View the list of hospitals covered by the plan, complete with the hospital’s name, address, phone number, and website address.
According to UHS.com, to locate hospitals that accept United HealthCare through the state exchange marketplace, choose the State Exchanges option, decide whether the plan is an individual/family plan or a small-business plan, select a state, choose a network, then click on the Medical Directory link. Enter a ZIP code or city/state combination, click Continue, click Places, and then click Hospitals to get the search results.
