Patients who don’t have an appointment and go to a Quest Diagnostics location without one should try to get there after 10 a.m. Quest Diagnostics recommends that patients bring their health insurance card and a completed lab requisition form from their doctor. Patients may be told by their health care providers to fast before a lab test, but this depends on the test.
Quest Diagnostics offers a wide range of testing services, such as blood testing, body fluid testing, tissue pathology and cytology, health screening, and drug testing. Quest Diagnostics says that health care providers usually get test results within 24 hours of getting the sample. Most people can get their lab results from their doctor’s office or online. Patients can also get a copy of their lab results by calling Quest Diagnostics.
