Jacob Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come are the four ghosts in “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. In just a few hours, all four of them go to see Ebenezer Scrooge.
Jacob Marley was Scrooge’s business partner in the past. He died, but in life, he was just as mean as Scrooge. On Christmas Eve, his ghost shows up to Scrooge and tells him that he will soon see three people.
The Ghost of Christmas Past is the second ghost to show up. He takes Scrooge back to his childhood. The Ghost of Christmas Future comes next to show him how the holidays are celebrated in the homes of people he knows now. Scrooge finds out from him that Tiny Tim will die soon if things don’t change for his family. Scrooge’s grave is shown to him by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.
